On the 7th of August 2024, the historic grounds of Gilmerton House were transformed into a vibrant summer soirée, hosting a summer garden party that perfectly captured the spirit of the season. Guests were welcomed to an evening of gourmet food, live music and captivating company, set against the stunning backdrop of this charming property. This memorable event was made possible by the dedicated efforts of our partners, sponsors, and suppliers, who helped to create an atmosphere of luxury and relaxation.

Culinary Delights by The Edinburgh Catering Company
The evening’s cuisine was expertly curated by The Edinburgh Catering Company, whose delectable offerings ranged from artisanal canapés to seafood stations filled with fresh langoustines and oysters. Our guests were also invited to sample steaks cooked over flames and the star of the show, a vibrant Middle Eastern banquet, prepared on their stunning cast iron Fire Table. The menu was a true celebration of local Scottish produce prepared with the flair and creativity that has made The Edinburgh Catering Company a beloved name in the industry.

Stretch Tents Scotland
Their stylish tents and canopies offer comfort, charm and shelter to any event and we were thrilled to showcase their offering by extending our courtyard behind the Laundry House to provide some warmth and shelter as the August sunlight disappeared into the night.
Splendid
From Moroccan lanterns and antler candelabra to stylish table wares and vintage popcorn machines, Splendid are experts in adding a touch of luxury, fun and elegance to any space and we were thrilled to be able to showcase a wide variety of their props and products on the evening.
