The Laundry House, Gilmerton House’s newly renovated event space, boasts a charming rustic interior with modern touches.
A perfect venue for private parties and events, The Laundry House has been meticulously restored into a space that can accommodate up to 100 seated guests. Available either alongside or independently from the main house, this historic space encompasses a spacious main room with a beamed roof, a flagstone tiled floor, and a beautiful outdoor terrace.
Originally built in 1804, The Laundry House has undergone a number of transformations since it functioned as the estate’s laundry room, but none quite as transformational as its recent renovation.
Now a striking and impressive blank canvas with modern touches and historic charm, The Laundry House can be used to host anything from private parties and product launches to yoga retreats and wedding ceremonies and is now available as an additional space either in addition to or independent from the main house.
